Spring finds me touring Connecticut, Long Island, as well as Rockland & Westchester counties in New York. I am performing in the mornings, then teaching circus arts (from juggling to stilt walking, clowning to diabolo manipulation) the rest of the school day. Some weeks I am at one school for an entire week as an artist in residence; at these schools, the students perform a one-hour show on Friday evening, to show off all they’ve learned!
I find this program to be very rewarding for the kids, as they learn physical dexterity, teamwork, persistence, listening skills, and most importantly, that what may seem impossible on Monday can be attained by Wednesday and performed on Friday!
